Doubt it'll filter through to the networks for a while yet. If you've only had v 21 a short while. If filters through at all.

HUYQBU, the way I see it it. If you ever get to the point where you need to send it back to Nokia. It's going to be pretty serious, are they going to reject you because of the product code ? I doubt it. Every other issue smaller than that can be fixed with replacement parts or a re installation of firmware.

I say go for it and change the code, and get the benfits sooner. But it depends on how long you've had your N95 as well. Your network won't deal with any repairs if it goes wrong. They'll simply issue a new one, or a re furb one. Again, with the amount of units they shift I can't see them being fussy.

I've not actually heard of any stories of either Nokia or an operator rejecting a faulty N95 from a customer due to product code change. If anyone can find any stories then by all means let me know and i'll change the statement. But until then, I say go for it, you've not got THAT much to loose, but a lot to gain.

Ah right, with that being the case it's probably not worth it for you then. If you don't intend to use it much.

I'd recommend it to anyone who uses it on a regular basis though.

My thoughts entirely.

I can see why we havent got it. Although I thought my phone was a "vanilla" one, checking my product code on this site it appears like you my phone is tied to T-mobile so thats probably why we arent being offered v30 yet.

I actually bought my phone from Virgin so I guess thats why.
