Now 1of my mates sent me one before some how but even since aint been able 2...I was wondering is there some sort of setting i need to set on the phone 2 receive the messages...?

Or could it be that there phone is abit old i think the mate that sent me 1 before has got 6300. but i dont think what phone they have should matter should it..??

Hope this problem can be solved..(Thanks for taking you time out 2 read this message)

u int on ur fne nw so u cn spk prprly

but seriously;

you will need the relelvant settings on your phone to receive/download the content of the message.

however, if they are getting the error message when trying to send i would say the problem is more likely to be on their end............(judging on the info you have given..)

what network are you on?

EDIT - just read back you didnt do too much txt speak, you are forgiven ;)

run settings wizard under tools. if not, have your service provider send you and your friend the settings.

get settings sounds good - give it a go

you will probably receive a message called a 'service message' which will contain the relevatn settings for GPRS,MMS etc... you want to hit the save option once you have the message open

on your mates phone - does the message appear in her sent items by the way?

In the past with O2 you couldn't have data and MMS enabled on the same account. I imagine this has changed now but if you have an old SIM you may still have old restrictions in place.

That might also explain the error message since it's O2 to O2 the network might know you can't receive MMS.
