I've been using an iPhone since the first one came out. I've had the N95 8GB for 4 days. Im not claiming to be an expert on the Nokia, but I told a friend of mine: "If you heavily rely on email, internet, Calender and text messages, music and movies, the iPhone can't be beat" The N95 is definately better when it comes to phone functions, and maybe the GPS (if I ever get it working). It's more compact, and the camera and video are unbelievable.

The Iphone's interface and ease of use is better for me (again, I've been on the iPhone for a while)

Overall if you could take the best features from both phones and make one (which would be easier with the Iphone, since it's limitations are software) you have the ultimate phone. But then, what would they sell next year and the year after that.

the n95's gps is great (if you get yours working). i have tomtom, nokia maps, and i can even put garmin if i want to and it does the job. i check my emails every hour and the phone's email client works great as well. having a great camera/video in the n95 is a plus because you don't need to carry another gadget for an everyday use...it's all in there. geotagging is one feature i love when taking pictures. the iphone's screen is plus for browsing and even for navigation but for overall features i would still go for the n95. i still use my nano and itouch for music though :D

I don't understand how you can be saying the Iphone is better for messaging repeatedly when the incomplete state of the messaging service on the Iphone is probably the single biggest complaint Iphone owners have.

The N95 is light years ahead of the Iphone when it comes to messaging. Maybe one day the Iphone will come out of the 90's and be capable of including pictures, video's and audio but right now it is just sad.

I would also take issue with your comment that the Iphone is better for movies. I don't need to re-encode video to play on my N95. Try downloading an AVI and doing that with an Iphone.

Seriously dude, you are on a N95 forum and you seem to be of the opinion that the N95 is crap. Maybe you should be spending more time on an Iphone forum and less time here. Of course you will never learn the capability of the N95 by sticking your head in the sand and you will likely just continue touting the over priced, over hyped and under capable Iphone because you did not take the time to learn how to use your N95.

I am also suspect of your comment regarding the calander. The Iphone doesn't even have a today screen on the home screen so I find it dubious that you think that is superior to the N95 that shows me my days appointments and reminders right on the home screen.

Dumwaldo, you da man.

Saved me writing all that. Indeed the N95, in the right hands, is a special tool. Anyone who buys an iPhone probably only focuses on the screen and browsing. I believe you even need a mirror to make a video call!

The built in browser is one of the better branded browsers but does have its downfalls, Opera on the other hand makes up for these when needed.

GPS software for the N95 is and will always be miles ahead of the Iphone, if you are serious.

Sounds like you should stick with the iPhone which you reckon is garbage.
