N95-1 Internal clock.......

So i woke up to my alarm on my N95 this morning, hit snooze and then lay it next to my head (ear) on my pillow so i didnt sleep through the Snooze. Anyway, to my surprise i heard a TICK every second, just like that of an analogue wrist watch. So i just thought i'd let you guys know, maybe you could have a listen for yourselves.

Have seen this mentioned somewhere before.
Didn't manage to hear anything from the phone myself but, mcbain - was it not just that you needed a shave on the side of your face that your phone was resting against?!! ;-)

its the charger! i have a nokia fm transmitter with charger for my car and when its charging and playing music you can hear ticking as the charger puts juice into the phone. if you take the charger out you will notice there is no ticking.

Agree with Tom. Although the ticking with the car charger heard through car stereo via an FM transmiter sounds more like a bass drum to me. In quite passages of music and silence it sounds like "wumph...wumph...wumph etc"

As mentioned above, its when its on charge. The rotator for the vibrate function moves ever so slightly whilst being charged.
