are you thinking , kill phone using "refurbish" and then dead flash with "restore option" using a lower SW version ?

yes flash it, kill it then dead flash., and if that doesnt work, you know were able to select each phone memory in turn and format it, well i was going to do that. but havent had time or found a donor phone yet as it may die completely.
you tried anythig like it?
