Thumbs up Ringtones vs. Music

I'm a new N95 user and I have noticed that when I go to pick a ring tone, I need to wade thru hundreds of songs I have installed on my memory card. Is there some way to make the phone look at a particular directory for ring tones (and another for songs)? I noticed a directory called "Sound Clips". It would be nice if I could tell the phone to look ONLY in Sound Clips for ringtones (rather than everywhere on the microSD card). Alternatively, I would like to know if it's possible to have the phone IGNORE the memory card WITHOUT taking it out of the phone (which is somewhat a pain). Any advice would be appreciated...

Thanks,

Gary Walborn (Wally)

I got just under 7GB's worth of music on my N82 and it's a pain in backside choosing ringtones, but hey, i love my ringtones and big memory so i'll have to live with it.

Can you not just start to type the name of the song, and the phone automatically goes to the first song by that search parameter?

Even if you do that and leave the card in, what is on the card is still available to select.

No agony at all...... so long as you're near a computer!

Just connect the N95 in Data Transfer mode and it's equivalent to removing the memory card
