bbc iplayer
I have the bbc iplayer on my N95-1 and I can play the programmes but i have 2 questions.
First, When i want to view a program it prompts for wifi connection without this it wouldn't play, i confirm wifi connection but when i'm watching the programme it uses my ISP GPRS ie Vodafone internet GPRS. any ideas why? Secondly when i download a programme, it downloads but at the end of the download it shows a message similar to 'unable to download program' and then ends the download. i suspect the download file is not compatible with N95 but with N96. any software for N95 to bridge the gap? ps if we only need a wifi connection to watch the programmes, most of us can only do this at home with our secured wifi, if i'm at home i might as well use my PC. hence the iplayer on phones serve no purpose. not sure what the logic is here? |
