The only thing I've done with bluetooth is just have a few headsets associated with the phone. I could probably clean those up but I'm not sure how much, if any, space that would free up.

I am pretty certain it won't be that. Again pairing device settings are very small files.

I think he meant in reference to received Bluetooth files, you've saved to memory. But the received message is still in your inbox of your SMS'.

Yup, and all your inbox is held in the internal memory and if the bluetooth files are there they can potentially fill up your memory, but it seems this isnt the case here.....

Have you ever downloaded map data?? that can take up a lot of space.....

I did do an OTA map update but I haven't downloaded any maps (other then the one that came with Nokia Maps 2.0) or routes or anything like that.

I ended up uninstalling a couple apps that I don't really use anymore and a theme or two but now that got me up to around 7800kb in free memory.

Well It's been under a month and after I freed up about 8mb and things were doing better. However I woke up today and all of a sudden my phone was saying that it was running out of memory again. I haven't even installed anything! I did a bunch of searches on the phone and couldn't find much of anything that was taking up room. I cleared the cache on the browser which freed up 2mb or so, but I fear that it won't be free for long. I am really running out of ideas on what to do next???

I'm also baffled about 50mb being in use on my phone memory that I can't really relate to anything sensible, other than the Symbian OS itself. How much space does it take up?

I can see my phone memory shrink more and more, now I see I have 99mb free, but when I do a quick check, the 47 missing mb are nowhere to be found.

I have a number of things installed. Just not 100% sure anymore what is installed where. I tend to put things on the memory card but somethings I have put on the phone memory (C drive). I think the only things that are possibly on there (besides the already installed software and applications/games that come with the phone) are as follows:

Opera mini
LightNotepad
Adaptxt
Conversation (from Nokia's site)
a couple of themes (only because they wouldn't properly reinstall on the memory card)
a small Sudoku game
NO mp3/audio files
NO image/pictures

For Free Memory I'm currently showing 4628kb, and the only running applications that come up on the phone all of the time are ZoneTag, RotateMe, and Adaptxt.

Also I have Y-Browser installed and I did a search on C for any files larger then 1mb and it found 5. The total space that those 5 files take is about 8mb.
