mine will keep going for 3 days, emphasis on 'days',because I turn it off during the night, never felt the need to keep it on,and even now I can't think of a single reason to keep it on during the night....???

I do everything, listen to music, play n-gage,use wifi several times a day, sometimes watch a movie or some show I downloaded, usually Seinfeld or The Simpsons.I make like a dozen phone calls or so,and text twice that much.
Lately I don't use Maps much but I've noticed that that vBag emulator takes a lot of juice to work, but I can't help it I just enjoy playing it.

Yea, same here. I turn mine off at night, why leave it on? Just a waste of power if you ask me.

I leave mine on 24/7 and on charge next to my bed at night - Although we have a landline, everyone always uses my moobile to get in touch.. I have children that don't live with us, and I like to be contactactable 24/7..

And yes, the phone alarm will work if the phone is turned off....

i have always wondered how that works, is there a part of the phone's OS that never turns off so it can trigger the alarm?

well if its anything like a standard desktop pc, they all have small watch type battery inside them to keep all the BIOS settings and clocks etc, so maybe the n95 has something similar seeing as its basically a small pc
