.txt File; Where to save?

Hi All,

where do I place a .txt file on the phone so I can open it in Applications/Office/Notes and hopefully edit? I found where to place it for opening in word, but cannot edit (ridiculous that we have to pay for that functionality - for what was a $900 (australian) phone). Cheers.

Documents is where I store all my txt, doc files. Yeah the "upgrade" fee in order to edit is buzzkill on such an expensive piece of mobile technology, but thats where they get the "juice".

The notes app will open .txt files. Just put them in Documents on the phone.

LightNotepad

I use light notepad, altho similar in the fileformats it uses, it doesnt make you feel like your writing a text and it has features like word wrapping, zoom, automatic recovery and find in document.

Thanks for that Elstrap. But does this work on N95-1?

Have downloaded the English only version App to my comp. Doe's the all language version, which I see is a later version, give you a choice to select you language. Sorry if I seem a little naive.

Happy New Year to You and Yours.
