Upgrading V13.0.003

I want to debrand my unlocked Orange 95. It's firmware is V13.0.003. Do I upgrade after I have debranded, or can I choose this during the debrand process? Also what is the best upgrade for this firmware? And do I need the SIM in and the phone set to general?

All the answers to your questions are already within these forums, and can be located by carrying out a search of the forums threads.

In short.

Debrand using the correct Euro 1 N95-1 product code using NSS
Then using NSU (Nokia Software Updater) update your device's firmware.
Make sure you have a sim card fitted, and general profile set.

Obviously, back up anything you wish to keep prior to upgrading firmware.

I would also recommend once you have backed up your items to hard reset your phone before connecting up to NSU.

Then connect to computer, fire up PC Suite, and install the support files.

Once this is done, fire up NSU, and ensure you have a full battery, or keep phone on charge whilst carrying out the firmware upgrade.
