Has anyone used a bluetooth usb hub like this with the N95?

I was wondering if something like this would work with the N95.

Bluetooth USB Hub

There are lots of usb keyboards, mice etc. out there and they cost only half as much as the bluetooth devices.

With this device, you could plug in usb keyboards etc to the dongle and use them via BT on the N95.

Still trying to get my head around it, but found one nevertheless.

USB 2.0 High Speed Bluetooth HUB-4 Port USB HUB on eBay, also Accessories Parts Components, Wireless Networking, Networking, Computing (end time 16-Feb-09 11:59:33 GMT)

Engadget featured one a few years back too.

Well it's not going to work with the N95 unless you can get drivers for the peripherals. Looks a very useful piece of kit if you have a couple of laptops which want to share a printer, etc. if it works as well as advertised, I'd like to see a proper review because I just don't see it working with every USB device.

Hmmm looking closer they seem to be the device featured in the original article. I think Inspector Gadget has it wrong.

The ebuyer reviews here help.

I'm still trying to get my head round what it does exactly, because the reviews and descriptions are far from concise.

Here's what I think:

- Its a USB hub, that connects to your PC by a USB cable, and it also happens to be a bluetooth dongle as well

OR

- Its a USB hub, that connects to your PC via bluetooth (so your PC needs to have a bluetooth dongle), so essentially its wireless.

If the latter, I'm baffled even more, because sure that might make your accessories wireless, but its going to need powering up! So totally useless IMO.

It's the first one. A USB hub with a bluetooth dongle included. The dongle isn't even integrated (see the ebuyer link I posted).

There are bluetooth print servers but I'm sceptical how well they will work with most consumer grade printers and at over £50 I'm not going to test one out.
