Exclamation Getting MMS to work

Hey:

I've had this N95 (original, not 8gb) for a while now. It is the international version, but I'm using it on tmobile in the US (new york). Texting and phone calls work, but the MMS has never worked. Does anyone know how I can get this to work? Its pre loaded with China's settings (CSL is the carrier I believe) -- and they dont offer MMS there I guess. Is there any solution to this?

Also, this was sparked because all this time it was running fine, until yesterday where it wouldn't send/receive texts... I had to hard reset the phone so texting works now, but if I load any settings, nothing works.. any solution to this also?

Thanks alot!

I think you have to call t-mobile and ask for MMS settings for your phone, which you then receive momentarily via text message. At least that's how I did it??!!

That's pretty much bob on.

First step would be to remove all previous MMS Settings from your access points.

Then providing your phone and network are compatible for MMS. You can request a settings text from the operator which contains the settings. Or you may be able to self send from the internet.

Thanks for the replies. One thing, the phone is on cingular, not tmobile. My mistake.

How would I be able to remove all previous MMS settings from the access point? I'm helping someone out with this, sorry if I asked something obvious..
