Cool Upgrading Software

Hi all. Im new on here so please, dont bite my head off :D !

I have had the N95black from the day it was released over here in the UK. Ive never upgraded the software or "firmware" i think you guys call it. anyways any tips on how too go about doing this? I.e how too back the phone up properly. Where too get the Firmware from ...

Any help is much appreachiated.
