.Jad files like google map refuse to install...
Since I've updated to the lastest phone software I cannot install .jad files when I try to download programs like google maps and other programs that use .jad files. What has happened? When I click to open from the web browser on my phone it seems to start the installation process then it cancells and it tells me I must have something else installed(I presumed) before I can continue. Confuse like hell.

try installing just the .jar file.

.jar file?? From where? The link only offers me the .jad file. There is no other option for a .jar file. I am trying to download the file from my phone, just so you know.

Try downloading it to you PC and connecting via PC Suite and installing that way.
Not all .Jad files will work.
