Exclamation N95 Software for everyone.

Hello there I am new here and I'd like to start with taking bull via it's horns so the speak. I'd like to talk about software for our super phone. N95 have so many features hardware wise that there is limitless possibilities of software that's available for it and well we need to know what is most officiant and work best with out phone so let's begin.

--==GPS==--
What a feature Assisted GPS in the phone, WOW. But with this very nice hardware we need nice software so what Should we use? Let's start with obvious choice a 1. Nokia Maps. From what I understand Nokia Maps is very good software but some features and speed are not as good as in others. People reporting that Speed compare to others are really much slower and also Features in it you need to have subscription in order to use. 2. Google Maps. I think anything that have to do with Google is very good (well not G1 phone) but Google maps is NICE I saw some youtube videos where they show Nokia Maps vs Google Maps on WiFi both and well Google was much faster and this new feature Street View is the bomb. 3. Garmin Mobile XT 2009. Now about this I really don't know what to say. All I know is Garmin makes very nice GPS systems and software on this systems are really nice.

GPS Software
1. Nokia Maps
2. Google Maps
3. Garmin Mobile XT 2009

--== File browser ==--
I am not familiar with any file redactors or browsers so it will be up to you to let us know what is best for N95. I'd like to see something like Total commander with ZIP/Rar feature right in and may be transfer to other phones or e-mail right from inside software.

--== Photo ==--
Again I am not sure what's available. Well there is no photoshop but who need it in the phone, tell us what you use and why. !

--== Video ==--
Again I am not sure what's available. We all live Video and use it everyday, let's find best software for it or N95 already comes with one ? Let us know !

--== Anti-Virus ==--
I do know and can almost be sertain that Kaspersky is very good. I use it every day on my PC and if it's from same Kaspersky Labs it's must be really good.

--== Music ==--
Again I am not sure what's available. Hours and Hours of music inside that N95, how about a program that can do something about it ? Let us know what you got.

--== Internet Browser ==--
This is very delicate topic because I do use mobile internet all the time and I have few words to say BUT I only will give options that's available cause I did no see internal N95 browser yet.

1. Internal N95 Browser.
2. Opera Mini
3. Skyfire
4. Fring (I think it's browser)

Ookay guys. When I started this topic I was thinking to give you a Feature in the phone vs what software is available out there to support our hardware so we can clearly see what we can use with our GPS,Camera,Photo,internet and many other things we can use. Also beside hardware there is many utilities and other things that available. So please let us know what you got and why. Also Feel free to recommend software for anything in the phone. With this post my only goal is to install only and best application that will do things we need to do fast,accurate and complete so I hope this topic will bring people Software answers they are looking for.

Thank you.

P.S.

This is my second post and I know there is many topics in here but none of them have complete software need for N95 users in one, so I hope I did right thing by doing this and also from personal note I really like to know what's good / bad and in general available in thousands of symbian and java software that's available.

that's because every N95 user here is unique with individual wants and needs.

thanks for sharing your views and enthusiasm with us, we do appreciate it, but such an in depth post trying be be all things to all people is a little far reaching.

you'll find that Tranceras advice about using the search function will bring you at least some of the answers you seek.
