Help N95 asking for Lock Code (was: Help)

ok my mum has a nokia n95 we are swopen them over but every time i put her sim card in my phone it ask's for "LOCK CODE" but neather of us have any code on does any one have a clue what code its is wonting

If you've never altered the Lock code, the default is 12345

EDIT: BTW Please make your thread titles more descriptive... And weren't you already informed about lock codes and the default in a previous thread that you opened called 'Help Me' ?

thanks i think its cause the sim card's was change it ask's for the code i had set thanks agen

The phone can be set to ask for a lock code if the SIM is changed, you have the option to alter this request in future.

ncp's can wipe security if you have forgotten your code. But you MUST PROVE ITS YOUR HANDSET. This means an official original document with your details, the phones Imei number and bring valid photo id with you or you will be viewed as someone trying it on. After all lock codes are there for a very good reason
