n95 charging problem
i have been given an n95-1 rm159 with firmware v31.0.017. it has been debranded it from orange firmware. i use a bl 6f battery in it. it has an 8gb sdhc card in it
the problem is the phone is constantly charging and never charges fully. when the charger is unplugged it is always on 2 bars. however, after a restart the battery indicator shows full but i am lucky to get 4 hours out of the battery. I have reinstalled the firmware once and hard reset twice and the problem will not go away i dont know if it has a stuck button but all the buttons appear to work fine when i press them so i dont think thats it. has anybody got any ideas on what i could do? thanks in advance

i have the bl 5f aswell however that does nothing when in the phone, it will not even charge so i have to use the bl 6f.
i have attatched my energy profiler graph which says about 35h on standby but it has never gone anywhere near that. yes both are 100% genuine nokia with hologram does that help? Last edited by rm159; 05-02-2009 at 12:02 PM.

profile pic looks fine, mine is at about the same as your lowest line when in standby.
I would try changing the battery, or even the charger... May be you could borrow one from some one you know....some one with the same phone
