hi i'm new here, just a few quick questions,

when choosing a ringtone in the settings menu, how do you preview it like the text message tone, how do i hear them before i select?

can the phone not take mp3 files they all have to be converted to that acc file extension i think it is?

and also how do i add my own words to the dictionary in texting??

1) In the Profiles, go into Personalization and select the ringtone. It should preview the ringtone when you scroll through - although it may take a few seconds to start.

2) It can play MP3 and AAC. Place the files in e:\Sound\Digital (on the MicroSD memory card)

3) I havent figured that out myself, surely there is a way.



Make sure you update the firmware to 11.0.026. It contains many bug fixes.

In regards to the preview... make sure you scroll! It will not preview the first one that is highlighted.. it only starts previewing when you press up or down

To enter a new item into the dictionary, when punching in an unknown word, press the "*" button until the left softkey displays "Spell". Enter the word and select "Ok". The new word will be saved and will be suggested the next time you input it.
