No on both counts. Out of curiosity, what happens when you try NSU on your handset - You already have the latest available firmware ?

Exactly...it says i have the latest...

so, Nokia pulled a bad update, then they took it off and did not provide a solution for the users who had upgraded? :|

why does it suck?

I'm having no problems with it. Everything is fine and I've hacked mine too (without having to stretch my patience too much) >:D

to start, i hear some noises while i listen music, electric noise..
i have problems installing/uninstalling apps, it takes too much time, the phone is a bit hung while the installer app is running, some times it also causes most of the apps to disappear from the menu and im not able to install anything until i reboot.

and of course some times it will mysteriously crash without reason....

my software is almost the same as always so it has to be a FW problem, since i have had all this challenges after the upgrade.

It's available again, why don't you try to reinstall it ?
