Changing the keypad

Anyone know how easy it is to change the keypad on the N95?

This number '2' key is driving me insane when texting. Hardly any ffedback from the button at all, makes it very difficult.

I know I can get a spare for a good price, but how much of a pain to replace it - anyone braved it yet?

Edit: I should have tried before asking, was EASY! Although it hasn't resolved the problem :(

Was it just a straight replacement key pad you put in?

Anyone know if there is one that gives a different feel than the normal N95 keys, they are too stickly and flimsy. Something with a heavier feel would be good, it's a pleasure when I go back to using my N80 how solid the keypad feels !! Shame.

Sorry for the delayed response. Yep, it was a straight replacement and it did nothing to fix the problem of the recessed '2' key!

I tried lifting it too by placing something behind the key to raise it and therefore make it more positive but that didn't work either! Grrrr.

Know what you mean about the keys, I find them hard work!

I'm going to have to stop touching my N80 (friend using it currently), when I go to show them how to work something it just feels so sturdy in comparison, lovely solid buttons, arrgh, I'm depressing myself here.

It's what I really liked about the N80 originally, but the N95 looks so much sleeker.

if it's that easy then real shame there is not an alternative keypad that feels and works better, maybe soon, Ask them and they will come !!
