Incoming Call Barring

Hiya all, I'm getting one or two Incoming nonsense Calls i could do without. could anyone please give some guidance as to how i Bar / Block this number from my phone. I have the N95 manual but can't find any reference to this problem ...... thanks..

I'd just phone your network and tell them the number and they should be able to block it for you.

you could also try this:

Handy Blacklist application for Nokia N95

however, this type of software only works if you know the number of the person who is being a nuisance. therefore, i'd have to agree with mkr, if you know the number you can call your service provider to block it.

or if it's a more serious problem of being stalked or threatened, call the police.

or has someone been naughty and has a past coming back to haunt them................?

LOL.. what i do, is to record a 'blank' sound.. and set it to the irritating person's ringtone.. so i cant hear the phone ringing.. >.<
free, works on all phones, small in file size.. easy to do.. no installation required..

As said by EG - Handy Blacklist is the killer app for this, if they are witholding their number, just set it to block all witheld.. - I use it all the time, and in conjunction with Best Call Recorder from the same company, you have all the angles covered...

the barring code it's dependent by the network as it's a network service, so you must ask your network service provider for more info
otherwise you can use a call barring software for Symbian like handy blacklist for free
