Why doesnt my album artwork show?
Hiya, i have recently transfered some music from itunes to my phone. A nokia N95 8gb. When playing a song, the album icon shows in grey but theres no artwork. As all my songs in itunes have album art.
The thing is, i sent the song to my friends SE c905 and when it was playing the song, the artwork appeard! Although it was very tiny on the screen lol So it just shows the the song/artwork is alright. So why doesnt my phone show it? it was the same with my N95-1 too. Thanks for your time

I have the same problem, I went through embedding all the artwork but it still doesn't work

B b but your a nokia genius! lol Im using mp3tag and following guides to save the "tag" and it still doesnt work. Surely this has been sorted a long time ago as it cant just be us that listens to music. I have an album called noah and the whale and that artwork shows up fine, but the songs from itunes dont. Its frustrating as its doesnt make sense......

Ta very much, it seems if i remome all data and re add the atrwork it appears. What a ball ache thats gonna be. I have all the now thats what i call music albums on my phone. Pain!!? you have no idea.........lol

Oh I do mate. It's 2009, I expect this sort of stuff to just work... We never landed on the moon, you know?
That's why the iPhone/Pods are so popular, innit. Muppets can use them. Nokia owners are more resourceful, like er...Fraggles..?

Okay, I've been reorganizing my whole music library this week and today, I've been dealing with this issue. At first, I thought of downloading all my embedded artwork into a seperate .jpg file and tagging it to the song in the N95, but found it would be too long and not worth it. I read somewhere that if you edit a song through Windows Media Player 11, you can specify an artwork to be "Cover (front)" and I did that for a couple of songs to test them out. Oddly, only a couple of them displayed artwork after my next sync, but it did indeed work. It's still a pretty tedious thing to do, and I didn't find 100% success. I just have like 10 songs with artwork showing. It's very annoying at how this is a problem with the N95 which is a very capable smartphone. I'm wondering, do the 5800 and N97 have the same problems or not?

Sorry but i listen to the music, don't waste time looking at the art work.
Plus all the pic's just bung up your phone.... I'm going to get creamed for this one

I found that if I put music and a jpeg image of the cover/album art via data transfer directly into the music folder on the MMC,that helps.
