Hi all
My N95, despite having quite a new battery begins to run out late afternoon after an overnight charge. I have the energy pro app on my phone and it shows a big jump in battery use every 30 secs. However, every now and then i notice that the battery is lasting a lot longer and on those occasions, when i look at the energy pro app, it is not doing those big jumps every 30 secs and yet the phone is still functioning fine. Some have said that it should do that jump every 30 secs but i'm not so sure. Any ideas anyone?

Sounds like you may have applications running in the background! eating up memory.

Get Handy Taskman.

It monitors the phone for you, checking what applications are left running, which could be sapping your battery without you realizing it.

It also gives you the option to Kill or close any or all applications while your phone is idle freeing up memory.

Wouldn't be without it myself.

No the big jumps are not normal, press and hold the left soft key and you will see what apps are running in the back ground, the only one that stays on is standby turn all others off and see how you get on.
