N95 8GB Cannot Play videos in Full Screen

Folks,

I recently upgraded to Firmware 31.2.008 and since that I'm having issues when playing videos in full screen. I cannot go to fullscreen mode. Not even sliding down it will let me see the videos in full screen. The video will maintain it's normal aspect ratio.

Any of you could assist me advising what could be happening? Does the firmware upgrade is the cause of this issue? When I purchase this phone with the previous firmware I could see my videos in full screen.

Appreciate your expertise on this one because video usage is one of the greatest features of this machine.

Thank you!!!!

OK, after days of suffering I finally figured out what happened. Let me explain.

The reason why I wasn´t able to see the full screen videos on my N95 9GB was not because of the new .008 firmware, what happened is that I turned on the auto rotate feature in the display settings. When you turn on this feature you will not be able to watch full screen videos pulling the phone slider down, in this case you will need to rotate the phone clockwise270 degrees in order to get the fullscreen. If you want normal screen then you will need to rotate counterclockwise 90 degrees.

If you disabled tue auto rotate feature then you will be able to switch to fullscreen mode pulling the phone slider down. Also this applies for the standby mode of the phone.

Befeor discovering this beleive it or not I hard reste and reinstall the firmware 3 times.... Tough!!!

Hope this help and don´t forget to hit the thanks button.

Appreciate Pros!!!!!
