Never happened and apparently never will. The issue is BT doesn't want to bother with a seemingly dead OS and private developers don't have any reward if they do choose to write such an application.
I do believe HandyWi or such an application which is made to auto-connect to other services can be configured for BT FON or Openzone.

Hi, I use HandiWi but it only goes to the BTFon login page, so I then have to sign in every time I use it !! cheers Ivan

I believe you can add your username and password to it, but for every connection you have to go through the app. Unlike the Android and iOS Fon apps which log you in for all your internet needs you can only browse the web via HandyWi's inbuilt browser.

Hi, yes, you're right. So I've been experimenting with Opera Mini which at least has the ability to save login info. oOnly started using it today so I'll let you know how it goes in a few days.. Here's hoping. Cheers Ivan
