Question How to play .avi files and other videos?
Greetings everyone.
I live in Paris France and have just acquired a N95.
I have added this site to my favorites to seek guidance navigating the extensive menu of my new phone,many thanx in advance for all your help.:-)
What is the easiest way for me to be able to watch(or convert)s my .avi file to watch on the sweet screen of my N95 while commuting to work.
I have not been able to play any of my videos on my n95,even the the video files in my Real Player library.

If you're willing to buy a decent program that will play all your video files on the N95 without them needing to be converted, then CorePlayer is your best bet IMO...

There's a thread about it here...

download divx mobile, i had the simpsons movie on my phone + other movies that played them fine!!

Hi there,

Do you know if DivX Mobile can play videos encoded with the Xvid codec as well?

what OS does the n95 run on?

or what divx mobile version do i need to download to get this working?

Use Super to convert the files to play on the N95.

The N95 has got Symbian Series 60 Feature Pack 3 (I think). So that's what version of DivX Mobile you want to be downloading.
