You probably mean the Active Standby.

Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Personalisation > Standby

Then change the Active Standby value to "Off".


If that's not what you mean then try using plain English, and somebody will help you.

are u using a branded phone? if im not mistaken, my friend's orange branded nokia 6680 has a menu on the left side of the screen.. that cannot be removed.. until he debranded the phone..

I have a couple of friends with Orange branded Nokias, no N95's though, they too have things like this. It must be some Orange thing if it is the same thing.

One friend just updated his firmware and it went back to normal.

I think it can be removed in settings>general>personalisation>standby mode>homepage

Maybe.......i told someone i know about this as they have an orange N95 but i have no response in the results of it yet.
