Turn off the WLAN,if your not gonna use it at all.
Make sure all app's and games are exited properly.
You can also change the settings so that the screen & keypad lights stay on for the least amount of time, saving on battery.

New batteries take time to "settle in". And besides, its reccomended you charge your battery over 24 hours during first use.

You should really charge for as long as possible on the first charge.

Hope your battery life is better now!
I have had my N95 for about 5 weeks and battery life is great, 2-3 days is the norm.
I charged mine for about 18 hours first charge then let it run down each time until it the Battery Low indicator pops up on the phone.
I use it quite a lot for texting, calls and photography and it seems ok.
I would also totally agree with the above comments about changing to settings on some things to minimum backlight time etc and also ensuring that all applications have been closed down.
Hope this helps???
Cheers! :)

When I first got the phone battery life was not good. Now it's last longer, I think after a few charges the battery last longer IMO.
