but at the same time, not too quickly i hope - wouldn't wanna be flashing firmware on to our phone's that is half perfected. let's give them some time to iron out as many kinks as they can

@Giz: did the WRT on the RDA give you an idea of the firmware in terms of UI speed?

Yeah I guess they have - but in reality I would rather wait a little longer for something that is not full of bugs.

Huey, I did check for the standby options you were asking about and it's a no-no so far :(

But I have another reservation in 20 minutes if anyone would like me to check anything specifically?

Wow. Fantastic news! 28megs left?? Sounds like demand paging... this will speed things up a lot and make a HUGE difference with the paltry amount of RAM on the original units!

As far as the v15 firmware for the 8GB goes, yep- that's a new version. The firmware on my 8GB is listed as v10.

Any word on the US variant (N95-3)? It could REALLY use a speed boost courtesy of demand paging...

****. oh well, you can't have everything right? the new memory paging is enough for me as it is.

2 questions:
- What's up with the Multimedia menu? Is it gone, changed to the new one or still there in all of its uselessness?

- My god, don' tell me the new firmware enables you to play flash videos of the web? Please explain the youtube screenshot.
