This is all truly exciting news.

Extra free RAM? Ngage? YouTube? New options? Wow! *drools*

I wonder if the performance tweaks they have done to save on RAM could also translate to battery life savings? If they've improved the general architecture of the software, then it's very possible.

I think since they are releasing NGage, which will chew the battery, that they would have had to have focused on battery life also. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

All in all, this is great!

Any word on the US variant (N95-3)? It could REALLY use a speed boost courtesy of demand paging...
The v15 firmware is also only a WRT demo version at the moment and not a current realease but hopefully this is the first sign of the new firmware :D

And sorry, no indication of anything for the N95-3

Just looking through it now, the N-Gage app needs to be downloaded before use (Which I won't be getting into) but as the screen cap would suggest, it is definitely supported

As for multimedia, everything seems to be the same apart from the music player with the added podcast sections

Through Nokias RDA system for developers you can find it through the Nokia research forums

Multimedia Menu is exactly the same as the current firmware at te moment :( but like I said, this is not a final release so it may be implemented some time in the near future

And yes, it seems to accomodate a full flash web browser plugin for sites like Youtube :D

See here, Youtube is definitely not the easiest site to view, and videos appear about 300% the size of the screen

(At 100% zoom)

But when switched to full screen via the flash player, it enters landscape mode and produces a lovely viewing

Maps v1.2 wk37 is the installed version

Apparently yes, the search application is accessable via the standby screen :D

No word on the battery handling, but there seem to be no extreme application changes, so I would imagine there is no difference

This is not a final release whatsoever - I will be clear on this and say there is NO indication of this being released any time soon, but obviously the clues are there, telling us it shouldn't be too long ;)

As for the RotateMe function, it has not been included so far..

Any more questions?
