Hidden New App: LiveTV

There's a new hidden application in the new firmware: LiveTV!
Some system tools can see it and launch it, like NStarter and YTasks.
YTasks info reports it as iptvliveui.exe and Hidden.

When it starts it connects to a server to update the programme guide but it finds nothing, so it cannot play anything. I live in Spain so maybe this service is not available, or it is just a future service coming on.

Try it to see if you have any luck.

Found it, but in the UK no programmes are available either, maybe a yet to be activated feature of ovi?

Maybe its a feature that will be fully available unpon activation.? Possibly something Nokia have planned maybe?

Amen to that as it would mean at least another firmware update coming.

You can find it in the video centre -> options -> settings -> Video service selection -> Live TV -> options -> add video service
It supports XML TV and DVB-IPI
I did a thorough search on the net and did not find and sites which provided any useful info on the above standards....
Maybe someone can shed some light on the subject!
