download firmware??
I have somehow managed to completely destroy the usb port on my N95! Now i can do everything via BT or IR except upgrade the firmware as the NSU says to connect the usb. Is there anyway that the updates can be downloaded and then installed as if they were an application?
HELP!!! |

Unfortunately, when updating the firmware, you completely re-flash the device's memory - This is basically the same as re-formatting your computer hard drive, as if you were to totally remove the operating system and all the data with it so absolutely no files in the device's memory would be understood
You WILL need to do this update via USB - Either get your USB port fixed/replaced or use a different computer |

How did you manage to kill your N95's USB port anyway?
But you'll have to take it to a service centre and get it fixed before you have nice shiny new firmware. |

the middle plastic bit broke and a couple of the pins snapped off! I am guessing that the service centre will say that it is not wty as it caused by myself. Time to get the soldering iron out i guess!
