data transfer
Just got my n95 but struggling with downloading songs and pics, managed to get some songs downloaded but not sure how I did it, tried again and the phone keeps saying usb connection in progress, does this mean it is transferring data, I am lost a bit, also would like to download games etc could do with some one talking me through this.

I assume that you have a memory card in the phone.
Just plug the usb cable and select data transfer mode. Then you should see the memory card in your pc as a drive. Copy the files you want there. But while the usb connection is active do not attempt to play the files or access in any way your memory card. I believe that's why you get warnings. When you have finished copying, do a safe removal of the usb drive from your operating system and when it tells you it's safe to remove remove the usb cable. Then you're free to view/play the files on the phone. |
