Problems after upgrading to v20

Im having some problems after upgrading to v20

1) The music player takes few seconds to load.It shows opening bar for a while and takes a few secs to open the music player. With the old firmware it opened instantly without showing the bar.

2) The # key in nokia maps dosent zoom out. i can zoom in with the * but # dosent work. i have to manually zoom out from options.

3) I read here that now the camera shutter sound can be disabled with warning tones off. Ive tried warning tones off and silent mode even. But the camera shutter sound dosent go.

4) When using the front cam to take pictures the tone comes out.. pauses for a second.. then comes back... like trrrrr...........ngggg...

Any one got any clues how to fix these ?!?

1) I think maybe its because of podcast application thingy

3) no problem there. the sound is also gone when i put my phone on silent

4) That, im trying to figure out. im also having the same problem. the nokia centre said that they cant confirm that the sound will be gone...

Did you restore Settings after the upgrade? If so, try a full phone format (*#7370#) and see if the problems go away. I don't think it's a good idea to try and restore Settings made with a different Version and/or Variant of firmware.

I didnt restore any settings after upgrade.. even formatted my memory card.! And i just did a full phone format (*#7370#) .. Still the problems persist ..

Does not sound good mate! I upgraded mine today and apart from a glitch in restoring my backup due to using an old version of PC Suite everything is now working fine - well let's put it this way, I have not encountered any of the problems you are having.

That's odd, sounds like it's worth re-installing the firmware via NSU

I upgraded to v20 and found that I'm unable to install Yahoo Go and Gmail client on the phone....
Reinstalled the firmware but the problem persists!

Even I am unable to install Yahoo Go on my N95 after upgrading the frimware.

No idea about the yahoo problem but im using the gmail app fine on v20.

If you downloaded the app from somewhere other than google then you might want to go to
http://www.gmail.com/appl on your mobile to make sure you have the latest version and the right one for the phone.

Hi,
I could resolve the Yahoo Go problem. I located yahoogo.jar in \private folder (I don't remember which sub-folder) and copied to my PC. I backed up all the data from memory card as well as from phone using Pc suite and formatted memory card. I also soft reset phone. I then installed yahoogo.jar using PC suites and restored data from backup without settings. I works fine now.

I hope this will resolve your issue as well.

does anybody know, why on Earth is "Maps" showing on my main screen' bottom right corner after upgrading to v20 firmware?
Even stranger, when pressing the right soft button, the Nokia browser starts up...

Don't know why thats happening but you can change it in...
settings>general>personalisation>standby mode>shortcuts

I have problems restore fone contents, no contacts,messages or settings. and can't open contacts in the pc ,seems like nothing in the file, and i need the contacts, anyone pls
