Text messages appearing as "Last name First name"

Is it normal for text messages to appear as received from Last Name First Name in the Inbox? If so, can it be changed?

I know this format can be changed to "First name Last name" in Contacts.

I haven't really looked into it much but what i do is this....
In contacts i write the contacts name in the 'Last Name' field then i go to option>edit>edit label>i change that to 'Name'>then i 'ok' it

This way you dont get any of the last name first problems.I do this with every new contact i input,bit of a pain though when i got the N95 as i had to do that with every contact,but i get no problems.

I could have sworn mine didn't do this till I upgraded to v20, but I wouldn't rely on my memory too much here

I notice that when I write a new message, the name in the "To:" field appears "First Name Last Name" so it's not like Nokia have gone for any sort of consistency.

does it appear Last Name First Name for all your messages in the Inbox or just specific ones?

and which view is your contacts set to? First Name Last Name?

Like i said,i get no problems what so ever.It's a bit time consuming but it gives your fingers something to do if your bored one night in front of the telly
