Import Contacts from File?

Hi

I have an N95 8GB arriving any day soon (eee excited!), and I just wondered is there a way that I can type in my current contacts on my computer manually from my ancient Motorola (I don't have a connection from it to my computer), so that they are all ready to be imported onto the N95 when it arrives (.csv etc maybe)? Obviously I can do this manually onto the N95 too, but I just wanted to speed things up as much as possible!

I have a Mac, but I use Fusion too, so either a Windows or OS X piece of software would be great!

Thanks in advance.

Can you copy your contacts to your SIM card?

The best way to get contacts from a PC onto a Nokia is to use Nokia PC Suite software to synchronise the phone with Microsoft Outlook. That way your contacts are backed up and easy to edit and access on your PC. There is limited Nokia isync software too but I'm not sure how useful that is.

If you are using entourage, download the ISync plugin from the nokia Site and this will update your data to your computer and yes, the best idea is yo copy your info to your sim and from there update data in the computer, remember that the depending of the motorola model, the info is being safe in different ways.

You might start an account on ovi.com and manually type them there. Once you get the Nokia setup, synch and they'll all come down to the phone.

I use Ovi as a backup of sorts. It sync's contacts, tasks, calendar and notes. Very handy and free!
