Enter... *#92702689# ...To display the 'Life timer', which shows the hours & minutes that the phone has been used to make and receive calls... this isn't an infallible method as the life timer can be reset to zero, although not without using special equipment to do so.
This should tell you if the phone has ever been used since it was manufactured... An easy way to remember the code is to think of entering *#war0anty# as though "warranty" was input in T9 mode, the second 'r' being replaced by a 'zero'.

Another fake doing the rounds, but you must me blind not to see this one.
 Slightly different from the other slide clone, this one has no slide, and the front camera is on the opposite side of the front.
