Unhappy I am trying to install Nokia Internet Radio BUT........

Hi everyone,

Help please if possible!!!!

I installed Nokia Internet Radio onto my Nokia N95-1’s 8GB memory card for me to enjoy.
My wife then needed to borrow my memory card for her phone (Nokia E51) and unfortunately whilst it was in her phone she accidentally deleted the Internet Radio (silly girl).

She has since “got rid” of the E51 as she has been provided with a company phone so I have now got my memory card back at last.

I now want to re-install the Nokia Internet Radio application back onto the memory card for use again in my N95-1.

HOWEVER

When I try to install it either onto my memory card (using Phone Suite Application Installer) OR direct into the phones memory (using Phone Suite Application Installer) the phone says “Nokia Internet Radio already installed – do you want to overwrite it?” to which I of course answer “yes” but then it says “please delete Nokia Internet Radio first using File Manager and then re-install the application”.

BUT

I am unable to delete it as I cannot find any reference to Nokia Internet Radio in either the memory card (using USB Data transfer mode to look “into” the card) or the phone memory (using Phone Suite/Files to look “into” the phone).
I have even been through the process as explained in this Forum for “removing stuck applications” but again can find NO reference to Internet Radio in any file or folder etc!!!!

What can I do please to get Nokia Internet Radio back on my phone?

Hi,
Sorry but on my N95-1 I cannot see Programs > Program Management so I am unable to try your suggestion.
Thanks

Ziffos... Look on the bright side, you could save a lot of money here... Your wifes' actions are almost certainly grounds for divorce!

Can't you format your memory card and reinstall the program?

Then if that doesn't sort it, backup your phone to PC-Suite, hard-reset it (*#7370#) and reinstall everything except programs to it...

You have the old firmware ? in that case i think its under settings somewhere.

On my N95-1 its been the fourth selection under "Programs" ever since i updated to v20, before that it was undet settings.

And if you have the old firmware (*#0000# you should have v 20.0.015)If you don`t , I would recomend you update before you reinstall N.i.r
