Just got a N95 and I have a few questions..

I just got the phone a few days ago and I upgraded from a T mobile dash and I am VERY happy for the most part but I do have a few questions.

I was wondering is there a app or something that will allow this phone to charge from a USB source? Or will I have to buy the Nokia chargers and stuff for it to be able to charge?

Also when you recieve a text message is there a button you can press to automatically reply instead of sluging through the menus?

Where the hell are my pictures stored? and how can I access them after I take them on the camera? I have looked for about 30 mins trying to look for some pics I took and I am pretty lost...

Finally is there a faster way to get the GPS maps to work without having to use a program that has to be signed? Because I am assuming if the icon on the left side has numbers it is downloading all of the maps right? I am guessing it is not displaying correctly on the map where I am when I zoom in because I dont have all of the maps downloaded correct? I am also guessing when I try to make a route it tells me it cant do it at this level and I need to zoom in..even though I am zoomed in all of the way would the maps not being downloaded have to do with this?

I know it is a lot of questions but I would really appreciate some help with some of them!

Thanks a lot.

1. None that I know of..
2. No shortcut key for that...'options > press > press' the way i do it..i guess we all do.
3. Open file manger and look for the 'images folder'..you are looking for a folder named year+month(eg. 200802).
When your connected to a pc the path is >My Computer\Nokia N95 8GB\Memory card\Images

You can press the button beside the camera button to see the last pic you've taken..That opens the gallery.

Browsing the forum and using the search function will answer much of your questions..
Not many of us utilize that.

Sorry I didnt know..but any advice about the maps? Because most programs I saw to download them needs the app to be unlocked and from what I have read from the cert guide I guessing people are abusing the system because I was able to make the account but I guess it doesn't matter since they are not giving out the certs...

Who?ehehe...It's just that there are too many people wanting to get a cert and SS can't handle them all at once..the service should be stabilized for no one really knows how long???

Sorry, I just don't understand what you're writing about.

The maps program is already signed. It came with the phone.

What icon, who's left?

Did you download the maps?

Routing should have nothing at all to do with how far in or out you are zoomed.

When first purchased, your phone will not have map data, which is why when you zoom in, the phone has to download the map data.

Best option is to download the nokia Map updater onto your pc, which will allow you to download the maps that you require via the pc and transfer them to your SD card. You can then disable the network option in maps to stop the application connecting to the network.

For your 1st question, i have the belief that the USB port on the phone does not have the element to chage therefore there will be no app to help as its a hardware thing. But you could try one of these USB chargers. Its the only way i think it would be possible. I have one and it works well, although a fair bit slower to fill the battery than a wall charger.
