thats awesome, i wonder if its the version of s60 on your phone or if that will work in other nokias, even though they state its limited to sometime 8gb.

I assume it's software. As long as the device can properly read an SDHC formatted card- there should be no problem up to the theoretical 32GB limit of SDHC. I'm not the least bit surprised to see an N95 using a 16gb card without issue.

I would also assume this is a software limitation, and it should work fine in other S60 3rd edition models. I fairly sure the N82 list a limitation of 2GB on the official Nokia website, which is obliviously false as well.

I keep seeing things and I know it's been discussed a little but those pictures show the memory reported in xxxxGB, can anyone confirm they've seen a Nokia device report the memory size in xxxGB and not in xxxxMB?? I still question the validity of the pictures

As do I. Also, writing looks a little blacker and solid than the rest, but thats just my opinion.

Yeah, I think you blokes are on to something. I'm so unsurprised to see a 16GB card running on the N95, I guess I had no motivation to question it- but now that you both mention it.... it really shouldn't be reporting in 'GB' should it? The color is a bit off as well. I don't think it should be jumping out at you like that. It absolutely does not match the rest of the black tones. I switched my theme over to this one (Nokia Theme) and had a look at mine... this image looks very odd, now that you two question it. :-\

You could well be right guys. I guess we will have to wait. The 16GB card should be out soon. Sandisk scrapped the plans for releasing the 12GB, and decided to go straight for the 16GB.
