Default 6110 Navigator - ALS (Alternative line service)

Hi,

I need a product code for my 6110 Navigator which supports ALS (Alternative line service). You can see if it supported if you have number "1" or "2" displayed on the main screen on the top of it. Or in the menu Settings->Phone settings->General->Call settings and if you have an option to switch to Line 2 or Line 1.

Please help me because I really need this.

Theres no such menu called 'call settings' in the place you said. I dont know if thats a mistake or its an option only available on some product codes.

Edit, found it. Nothing like that in mine Im afraid.

And on the top of the main screen you don't have any numbers displayed for example "1" or "2". If you take a look at the user manual that came with your phone somewhere around page 16 you should have a description of signs that could show on your phone. There you can see a descriptions about the number "2".

Thanks!

Manual is at home at the moment, buried under things. But I dont have any 1's or 2's onscreen at all. Looks like my product code doesnt support it.

This is normally set up by your Operator and the on-screen icon only appears when it is enabled. As far as I am aware you have to subscribe to another line (which you pay line rental for).

To switch between lines press and hold # for a few seconds to switch between line 1 and line 2.

Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure that if you have line "1" selected, you shouldnt get any number appearing on the screen as that is the default line.
And the "2" is only displayed to let you know that you are no longer using the default line, "1".
