Default Need help with 6500 Slide!

I recently purchased a 6500 slide and it has been working flawlessly. I had a 2gb micro SD card in my old phone, which I put into my 6500 slide the day I got it and it worked without a hitch.

Recently, I decided to swap the 2gb microSD card with the 512mb card that came with the phone. I simply put all my files over to that card (mainly songs, but the odd photo and video) and now I have come across a lot of problems. Whenever I go into the gallery and play a song, the screen will freeze but the song will play (alternatively, you see the song playing, but freezes around 3 seconds). Sometimes, just when accessing the card, it also freezes up.

Whenever I go into the music player, it seems to function alright, but it often freezes when updating the library, or again when it tries to play a song.

What is my problem here? Is it something wrong with the memory card itself, or could I have changed some files on the card when I transfered them?

Any help is much appreciated.

I'd suggest formatting the 512mb mem card IN the phone and then putting your files back onto it. Including hidden files, and see how that goes.

Further to this, (Hidden Files) you don't want to copy over Windows Thumbnail Files they have a tendancy to throw curve balls in Nokia phones.
