Default Mail For Exchange - HTTP?

Hi all,

Im very close to buying the E66 with Mail for Exchange to use at work... I like the idea of mail from our exchange server being pushed to my phone while I am out and about!

The only question I have is - Does the client support Exchange over HTTP? currently to access our email from home, we setup Outlook to use Exchange over HTTP @ http://mail.ourdomain.com and I was wondering if the application also supports this?

Many thanks,

Will

Exchange over HTTP is for Microsoft Outlook to connect to the Exchange server from the Internet.

I think the Exchange client that Nokia provides uses ActiveSync Exchange. This is an ActiveSync protocol that synchronizes the phone directly with the Exchange server (a front-end server specially set up for this) instead of with another PC running Outlook. Only the Inbox, Calendar, Contacts and Tasks folder can be synchronized.
