Sorry for the first accidental post.
I probably would agree that the RAM and extra battery life makes quite a difference, but thinking about it you don't need to use the whole of the RAM to actually use the n95 to it's fullest potential, but proabably you do for the battery life. The screen maybe 0.2 inches bigger and may look larger (i wont use the word 'better' because i dont see how an increase from an initially very large screen makes it look any 'better') but that results to a tincie bit more pixelation on the screen since they are both QVGA resolution.
And for the non-expandable memory, i mean if nokia were thinking of making the 8GB version a niche product for gaming and music they would think of putting a m. card slot rather than JUST a HDD to store more. So basically there's no way of beating the original n95 in storage.

Well when reading like mobilburns review of first impressions of N95 GB (protoyp) it look it are real good screen >

I was surprised by the display. The "smaller" screened N73/93 was slightly brighter than the larger N95 and was expecting the same again. Even more so because Nokia's other 2.8 incher from Eseries looked a shade above dull.

However, it was bright, vivid and crisp. Stefan of intomobile.com noted that it was actually brighter than the original N95. Like the 2.2" to 2.4" and 2.4" to 2.6", 2.6" to 2.8", although only 0.2" difference on paper, makes a world of difference when viewing a mobile phone screen. For one, it's a lot more comfortable for your eyes not having to focus on such small fonts and makes viewing pictures/videos a more pleasant experience. Despite the fact that the display is still QVGA, as opposed to the rumored VGA, it still looks darn good and there shouldn't be much complaint over the gained screen realty. I haven't done enough exhaustive testings on different applications to see if there has been any obvious, unsightly stretching but I definitely welcome a bigger screen.

Yeah i would like a bigger screen. But im not really lusting for the n95 8GB for its screen, or anything else.
Theoretically and realistically the bigger the screen the more pixelation, i wouldnt really like to risk getting the n95 8GB if i did want to get it lol. If the increase the screen why not they increase the resolution aswell?. Thats my motto, 'the bigger the screen the more pixels there should be' haha.
But hey, i see the negatives and positives aswell.

Romeo- I disagree... to really use the N95 to its fullest potential, that extra RAM is a must. I think you're simply not realizing the potential of the device, honestly.

Also- if you need to add something to your post, feel free to use the "edit" button on the post.

Cheers!

lol, yeah i do admit that the extra RAM is quite useful. Lets say if you open like 10,987 applications at once that would be a way of testing the device to its fullest potential. That's what's making you tempted into getting the 8GB one isnt it?...for me it doesnt really matter about the extra RAM.

The ONLY thing that's tempting me is that screen which probably shows more pixelation than the current one. Hey i'm contradicting myself since i said that 'i wouldnt really get it because of the 0.2 inches larger screen' lol, and that's true...

yeah that's quite a smart thing isnt it, the icons are slightly enlarged due to the larger screen therefore not having to focus too much and havng painful eyes after! lol.

hehe, yep dont worry. As soon as it opens i will be testing every single 'new' device on show and will post you and everyone reviews on every device i have tried. Should be interesting...

Well- it's more the US variant N95 (N95-3) that I'm interested in, not the 8GB- in fact, as I've mentioned before, I see the 8GB internal memory without expandable memory a negative and doesn't interest me one bit. The 8GB of course has nothing to do with the amount of programs you can run...

And it often takes the operation of only a couple applications, two- in some cases even one application (video editing? Web browsing?) to run out of memory or have applications sneakily shut down on you... I hold strong that if the limited RAM in the N95 isn't a problem for you, you're simply not using the device to it's fullest potential. It's not a novelty to run multiple programs at one time!
