Point to Point measuring with imported graphic maps

Seems to be a long shot but what I want to do is:
    • import a graphic map of an area, either a drawing or a google satelite screenshot
    • Display the image and be able to measure from my current position to any point on the display.

This is to be used for golf so measurements need to be in yards not miles.

So far I have found some apps for garmin but garmin isnt available for the N95 8gb so I need another option.

I already have gps software for golf that is non-graphical that I really like. I am looking for a graphic option.

    Any ideas?

    Intelligolf.com

It does everything you'd want... except display a graphical map of your position on the course.

So how did you like it? Was your course available or were you doing the survey yourself?

I was interested in the same thing but then I thought, I doubt that the battery would last a full 18 holes with GPS on?

I just played 2 rounds using the N95 with Inteligolf. I had Energy Pro running as well. In 3hr 50min running the app and playing golf yesterday, it used 512mah of my 1200mah battery. It's good for 9 hours at that rate. It was 2 bars down after both games. I recharged in between. The phone goes to standby after 30 secs while playing, but wakes up fast with active gps readings.

I'm liking it, but I'm still looking for a measureable topview of imported satelite images app.
