Hi All,

I was having difficulties with Ovi Maps constantly recalculating the route when I used it on my Nokia N97 Mini. I thought this issue might clear up if I updated all the software and the maps themselves.

After updating the maps I need and downloading the English (with road names) sound files I headed off to London...stupidly without checking it was all working. It took me a good while to reach my destination I can tell you.

Today; assuming I had not downloaded everything properly I re-downloaded the map files and the sound files and tried again. STILL no voice instructions.

I checked the downloading location and found an issue there. I think I now have copies of all the maps I downloaded AND the sound files in BOTH the mass memory location AND the memory card location.

My question is really this. Can I uninstall the maps and the sound files from BOTH locations and ALSO uninstall Ovi Maps too....THEN reinstall Ovi Maps again and start from scratch and download the maps that I need. AND..will that resolve it?

Oh, I should have said....Ovi Maps sound files were working just fine before the map upgrades.
