Nokia or Google maps???

is it better to use google maps or the nokia maps when using the gps,i live in the USA and when i type in an address using the nokia maps it never knows the address, which makes it impossible to accurately use the gps to find my route. Am i doing something wrong, or does the nokia maps2.0 not know actual address. for example i put in my home address to find the fastest route from the airport to home and it did not find anything when i put in my address.

have you updated the maps with nokia map loader?

the thing about Gmaps is it costs you with data usage costs.

yes i did install the latest version, just a few mins ago and went outside to test,i typed in an address in the search box and it came back with nothing. google map seems to be alot easier. I like the layout of nokia maps and wish it worked ALOT better, it doesnt have a defined directions link like google does and i still cant get it to find specific addresses,i must be doing something wrong, the map seems pointless unless you pay for the guide. IS there a help or step by step on how to get directions from whereever you are to another location?

I used Nokia maps - triggered the 3 day freebie by accident and found a friend's house in Edinburgh - the last time I went I had to call him twice - so this saved some embarrassment for me.
What are the issues people have with Nokia Maps?

Is it stoopid to consider the £46 per year licence?

Help

+1 on the recommendation that nokiamaps is better. Been using is since the first day i got my phone, and haven't looked back since,

EDIT: Googlemaps while being great for the US ( Don't know abt Europe cos I haven't tried it ) doesn't have really accurate maps for asian countries. Our road systems are a bit wonky, and I find that at least nokiamaps gives me a pretty accurate ( if not always spot on ) idea of where i am
