Geo tagging
please help. if an image is tagged and we chose show on maps then it shows a landmark . can this landmark be saved on nokia maps ? becase i couldnt find that land mark when i start nokia maps seperately.

I thought there was some kind of program/website that you could do this on, but I think it has to be on your computer... :confused:

I just messed around with the phone, and if you are looking at a picture taken from your phone in the gallery, just goto options on the picture and then SHOW ON A MAP..
Nokia Maps then boots up and put's it on the map with a little blue tack.. :cool: -John

i have an n82 but when i go to options on the picture there isnt an option to "SHOW ON MAP" do i have to update my frimware or something?

The image has to have been geotagged when you took the picture in order for the "Show on map" option to come up. To have the camera set to do this, from the camera app select Options>Settings>Record location>On. Keep in mind this may slow down the camera speed, and use up the battery faster, if you are not outside. I usually keep it off until I want to geotag the images I will be taking.
