I might be able to get free USB charger, but its a model designed for the
N90.
Any ideas if the N90 socket is the same as the N95 ?

N90 uses the same charger plug as the N95

But it wont CHARGE the N95.
The N95's USB socket has not been designed with charging capabilities.

I've had something similar. I used it to charge several phones, but it wouldn't charge the N95 from my Laptop USB. Apparently it needs a bit more oomf. You can get boosters which solve the issue, discussed elsewhere on the forum.
Just bear that in mind when you try it.
It's Broke?
Did you know that your Nokia comes with a 2 year warranty? Did you know that Carphone Warehouse are Nokia Repair Centres?
Damage from normal use: wobbly slider, broken keys, quiet earpiece etc... will be repaired for free, and usually the same day if you take it to a big store!

I was wondering if this socket is the same the
N95 uses.

Me? USB 2.0 mate. Don't think it's the speed though, I think it's the power output that's the problem.
It needs one of these thingies, I think.
